Garden of Eating BYO has been Wayne & Adele's love for more than 31 years, and it's easy to see why. Both of them have been involved in the hospitality industry for over 40 years, starting out in Christchurch, NZ in the late 70's, where Wayne did his training to become a fully qualified Chef.
In 1993 they decided to open their own restaurant when inspiration struck with a creative vision of a garden courtyard hidden away. They found the right place, with the foresight of something distinctively them, with their own quirky touch, and that is exactly what they have achieved. Wayne and Adele work as a team to create a one of a kind dining experience, always coming up with new menu ideas.
Adele provides personalised service, managing the front of house, while Wayne creates diverse dishes with unique flavour combinations as the sole Chef.
Both of them have a long time passion for food and wine, which has taken them on many travel journeys to experience both of these.
Garden of Eating has become a magical setting where diners can enjoy a meal in relaxed and laid-back surroundings. Intimate gatherings are also welcome for birthdays and wedding receptions.(30 max)
